The idea for Nuke the Net originally came from Sam Hughes, a web cartoonist. (Among other things)
In comic number 768, Sam introduced NukeTheNet.com. A site which in essence destroyed the Internet. I thought it'd be fun to make a joke site to emulate this feeling and see if I couldn't get SlashDotted.
